If needed the one-piece wing can be removed and reinstalled as there is no glue required to put this RC warbird together. The 1.2m size of the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.2m means easy to transport and store without the need to disassemble. Operational flaps and retracts with strut covers and doors have been factory installed to replicate the functional features on the full-scale T-28 Trojan. The factory finish on the T-28 is the well known red and white trim scheme along with all-new nose art and markings. Built into this durable body are the type of scale details that warbird enthusiasts look for including an instrument panel, a pilot figure and panel lines. The airframe on the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.2m is made from a fully moulded EPO reinforced composite that is both tough and lightweight. This means that the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.2m is set up to be the perfect ‘next step’ RC warbird model after you have become competent with your trainer model. The AR631 receiver also has exclusive SAFE Select and AS3X technology installed. You will need a Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitter (DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others).
The BNF version includes a Spektrum AR631 receiver that when combined with Smart or non-Smart batteries enables the Smart Lite ESC to give the pilot a number of different real-time power system telemetry data including battery voltage levels, motor RPM, current and more. Put in a 4S LiPo battery and you can go even faster and enjoy pretty much unlimited vertical aerobatics without the need for upgrades or modifications. The specially tuned motor in the factory-installed brushless power system along with the 3-blade prop, and, the Spektrum 70-amp Avian Smart Lite ESC combine to give you incredible thrust with a 3S LiPo battery.
